This week is National Volunteer Week and a chance for us to recognise the selfless work of our volunteers and to say thank you. We cannot do what we do without our volunteers, and we say thank you to each and every one of them for making the Western Hospital experience so unique and special.
The theme for National Volunteer Week 2022 is 'Better Together', referring to the strength volunteering has in bringing people together, building communities and creating a better society for everyone. Our valued volunteers do everything from patient greeting and settling, directing patients and visitors, filing, administration and paperwork, creating packs for patient admissions, working in the café, tending to the roses and helping in oncology.
We thank them for their time, care and kindness and for everything they do at Western Hospital.
