COVID-19 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS AND VISITORS TO WESTERN HOSPITAL

Western Hospital is monitoring and reacting to the COVID-19 situation in Australia as part of our commitment to all of our consumers. We aim to responsibly and consistently do everything we can to protect all who enter our hospital as part of a wider community and national response.

 

We have implemented preventative measures for those entering or working in the hospital, including screening about their potential exposure to COVID-19.

 

We encourage everyone to follow steps to protect yourself and others if you need to come into the hospital. Covering your coughs and washing your hands are essential practices for us all,  but if you are unwell with symptoms of illness or have been in close contact with someone with Coronavirus please stay home and do not come in to the Hospital.

 

The situation is changing daily. We continue to follow the advice and recommendations of the South Australian and Australian Health Departments and any information from the Australian Government.
