A sincere thank you to the Lions Club of West Lakes - Seaton for their tireless efforts in raising funds and donation for the purchase of a Bariatric Lifter for Western Hospital.
With increased Bariatric Surgery since the opening of the Intensive Care Unit at the Hospital, there was a need for additional specialised equipment. The Bariatric Lifter is a sophisticated device which allows a single nurse to carry out patient transfers ensuring comfort, without stress or strain and with no manual lifting risks.
